Ursula delivers a pitch perfect moment
JetBlue pride was front and center at Fenway Park as JetBlue’s Chief Financial Officer and President of the JetBlue Foundation, Ursula Hurley, threw out the first pitch at the Red Sox game—representing the Foundation with a pitch right down the center of home plate.
This major-league moment celebrated the JetBlue Foundation’s partnership with Kids in Tech, one of the 2024 JetBlue Foundation grant recipients! Thanks to this grant, Kids in Tech will bring aviation technology and aerodynamics into their interactive after-school programs—reaching approximately 150 students this academic year.
Kids in Tech shares our spirit of innovation by helping young minds build confidence in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), and empowering them with the tools they need to shape the future of our industry. From the field to the classroom, this is how the JetBlue Foundation continues to invest in the next generation of aviators.
