Inspiring future aviators at Girls in Aviation Day

JetBlue’s team in San Juan proudly participated in the Girls in Aviation Day event hosted by the Puerto Rico Chapter of Women in Aviation (WAI).

The event, which welcomed over 300 attendees, including Girl Scouts, ROTC cadets, students, and community groups, aimed to spark interest in aviation careers and inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.

JetBlue had a strong presence with two tables featuring JetBlue swag and information about JetBlue’s Gateway Programs, which help aspiring aviators take flight in their careers. Volunteers from across JetBlue’s workgroups were on hand to share their experiences, answer questions, and showcase the many career paths available in aviation. JetBlue’s values were on full display, reinforcing our commitment to supporting education and the future of the industry.

Adding to the event’s impact, the JetBlue Foundation donated a pair of positive space tickets to support the PR WAI Chapter’s continued efforts to grow its membership and inspire future aviation professionals.
